POSTPONED!!!
Join us in the Columbia county area of the Hudson Valley
We are so pumped to be in nature with our dear loved one Myrto who has great appreciation and knowledge of the area, plants, the stars and story behind these more than human kin we share ecosystems with. Myrto has lived in this area her whole life and and has so much too share with us.
Myrto Daskaloudi (she/her) is a Greek & Jewish herbalist, astrologer, and dancer from so called Hillsdale, NY / Mahican lands. Myrto has spent time studying plants in Vermont, Greece and all throughout the Hudson Valley. In her work, she weaves together her love for the plants with her ancestral stories of the stars.

Its already a stunning year and the April showers will indeed bring us May flowers and many more divine beings we can learn from and spend time with. We enter the class with intention for information so we gain more appreciation for our more than human ecosystem mates. Learn who lives right outside your door or a quick walk away. Together we use all our senses to engage with our living classroom. Touch bark, listen to bird songs and smell the flowers.
The exact location of the walk is revealed to registrants 2 days ahead of the walk - contact me directly about accessibility for this walk

As with many of our offerings, this class is sliding scale and a suggested offering of $30-50 is encouraged. We also offer and have opened the option for folks to “PAY IT FORWARD” and offer $100 to provide scholarship for those wanting to attend and might not have the means but still want to support the work and lesson.
We don’t turn anyone away for lack of funds and we welcome folks to pay what they can and no questions are asked.
Are you unsure where you fall with sliding scale payment arrangement? Some brilliant person made a beautiful diagram that really makes it clear as can be!

Come prepared to be in the weather and in nature.
Please no dogs unless they’re service or emotional support animals. Highly trained animal companions staying on the trails with us and not running after wildlife is a must.
